Micratek Consulting,LLP was established in 1989 and is co-owned by Craig Chapman and Michelle Chapman. After graduating from Devry Institute of Technology with a 4.0 GPA 1985; Craig was hired by the Perkin-Elmer Corporation. They trained him on the microlithography equipment, Photo aligner series 500/600. Upon completion of the training program he was placed in the field service office in Phoenix. After several years of field service work, Craig had developed excellent trouble shooting skills and a superior knowledge of the inner workings of the photo aligners. He was then offered a position with Motorola as part of a team who's primary goal was to train in-house personel,making outside service contracts no longer necessary. This goal was achieved with success in 12-18 months and saved Motorola a great deal of yearly expense. While Craig has brought all the technical aspects to the Micratek arena, Michelle's psychology degree makes her an invaluable resource for interfacing with the clients and what ever needs may arise for them. She also works with the sub-contractors for scheduling or travel arrangements. Michelle as also taken it upon herself to go one step farther in familiarizing herself with the general operation of the photo aligners by spending 5 years in the field preforming light maintance at the customer sites. In addition to this she manages the office and the stock room inventory on a daily basis. Micratek has flourished under the combined supervision of Craig and Michelle for the past 16 years and we are looking forward to new challenges and continued success.
